30 Jun A Visit To The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
A couple of days ago we went to Monte Carlo to visit the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. I didn’t have any expectations at all, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised.
The Oceanographic Institute was founded by Prins Albert I in 1906 and it’s comprised of The Oceanographic Museum in Monaco and The Home of the Oceans in Paris. The institute follows the wish of Prins Albert I of “knowing, loving and protecting the oceans”. If you want to know more about the museum you can find their website HERE.
Everyone in my family was blown away by the beautiful aquariums with fishes, sharks, anemones and aquatic plants. We were all running around with our cameras and mobile phones trying to capture the colors and shapes of these wonderful(and sometimes weird) creatures.
