12 Apr Postcard From Paris
I’m back from Paris and me and Emma had the best time ever. We walked around a lot, ate more strawberries/hour than I’ve done since the summer and enjoyed the warm weather and the sunny Parisian gardens. Instead of a recipe I made a short travel post for you today with some places I think you should pay a visit to if you’re in Paris. Next week I’ll be back with a recipe as usual, maybe something french…
Soul Kitchen
33 rue Lamarck, Montmartre
We found this cute little café on our way to Sacré-Cœur. They serve great vegetarian lunches, the staff is really friendly and the environment is bohemian and cute, the floor tiles are pretty gorgeous as well.
Angelina
226 rue de Rivoli
If you want to have the complete Parisian experience you need to have a macaron. Skip the line at Ladurée and go to Angelina at rue de Rivoli instead. It’s just by the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden. Caramel is my favorite flavor, and they have a lot of other pastries and desserts too.
Galignani Bookshop
226 rue de Rivoli
This is my favorite bookshop in Paris. They have a lot of english literature and the cookbook section is amazing. Unfortunately, books are too heavy to carry home to Sweden when you’re only traveling with hand luggage but I still enjoy walking around in the beautiful bookshop with it’s wooden interior and high ceilings. Galignani is located on the same adress as Angelina so you can look at books until you’re tired and then go eat sweets right next door.
Medieval Louvre exhibition at the Louvre Palais
Beneath the courtyard of the Louvre Museum there’s an exhibition called “Medieval Louvre” where you can still see the walls of the medieval Louvre castle. Both Emma and I thought it was the best part of the Louvre Museum. Oh, and that’s me up there trying to look like Caesar…

Posted at 00:21h, 21 AprilHi Thea!
Thanks so much for sharing!! My family and I are going to Paris this summer and I was wondering whether you have any specific food place suggestions? It doesn’t have to be anywhere fancy but just good food that lets us understand the culture of the city more!!
Thanks!
Abby
